Kilcooley ‘Help for Heroes’

Why not get involved in this worthy cause?

Initial plans have been put in place to include various fundraising activities for all to participate in and to voluntarily contribute toward.

As these events begin to emerge we will inform the community about what exactly is taking place, and who are our registered volunteers and support workers. Each volunteer will hold authorised identification badges and we would ask all members of the community to ensure they ask to see this ID before making any contribution or donation.

If you are interested in holding a simple event to help raise funds you should contact us via this website or Forum contact details. We would also ask if you would think about putting up a stall at the annual Fun Day which is to be held on Saturday 7^th August 2010 from 11.00am – 3.00pm at Kilcooley Square.

It is planned that a ‘Presentation Day’ will take place on Friday 17th September 2010 when a cheque for the full amount of donations received will be handed over to a representative from ‘Help for Heroes.’
