Age Concern MENs Health Conference –

Thursday 25^th March 2010

in Marine Court Hotel, Bangor. Guest Speakers include Dr Ian Banks Bsc. BAO.MB.MSc.PhD. Dr Banks is a part time GP and A&E officer in NI. He also represents doctors for the British Medical Association. Morning tea and scone will be served. Places must be booked by phoning 028 91271968.

SHIP SHAPE – (Seniors Health Improvement Programme) takes place

on Tuesday mornings at 10.30am in Borough Gymnasium, Hamilton Road, Bangor. 6 weeks Circle Dancing. The activity, which lasts an hour, is lightly paced so no-one should feel under pressure. Participants benefit from the camaraderie as much as from the exercise, resulting in good physical health and emotional wellbeing. It’s open to anyone aged 50 and over. Cost is just £1 per week. Starts at 10.00am with a cup of tea and scone.

Age Concern CARERS Group will be held in Room 2, Hamilton House, Hamilton Road, Bangor starting 10.00am for Tea.

Wednesday 27^th January 2010, Wednesday 24^th February 2010 and Wednesday 24^th March 2010.
