Kilcooley Community Forum: New Decade for Development

Jim Rea Chairman Kilcooley Community Forum
2010 already looks like it is gearing up to be a very interesting year. A general election looms and our very own constituency waits to hear who will run the race for North Down. Whoever it may be, we welcome the opportunity to work closely with them and enable Kilcooley and the wider borough to benefit.
Kilcooley Community Forum sees the new decade as a further opportunity to make greater changes within the community and help create a safer and more welcoming community for all. Our member groups each have their own individual goals to achieve and yet work collaboratively with one another and with the various statutory and voluntary agencies to continue with local neighbourhood renewal and regeneration strategies.
We view this new decade as yet another opportunity for new and even better devlopment which we hope will bring employment prospects for local people, enhance education skills and improve social networking.
